The Turkish yard will be responsible for the concept design, exterior styling, interior design and construction of the motor yacht projects. Diana Yacht Design will take on the naval architecture and engineering, following a successful collaboration on Tansu Yachts’ last launch, 34m Only Now.

Although it won’t be ready until 2015, the 37m So’Mar is already under keel laid and hull construction at the yard. It will feature an upper deck dedicated to the owners with an aft master’s cabin, spacious exterior deck and lounging areas.

From the launch of Bartender (ex-nomads) last year, the Cutlass yacht is the next part of Tansu Yachts’ Mothership series, which already includes models from 30m to 42m. Modification of the yacht will include an internal stairwell, an upper deck sky lounge, remodeling of the crew area, a larger cold room and laundry, and a re-designed captain’s cabin.

Engineering is in the final stages and the yard will cut steel for Cutlass in December. David Legrand from Fraser Yachts, who has been the central agent for the all of the Mothership series, will be the agent again for Cutlass.
